"True life story that is a good read for teens or anyone interested in sports. I liked the parts about the AAU basketball and the mention of NBA stars when they were younger."

- Hi Eric,
This is your Aunt Linda and I just read your book, I must say I liked it. It was a lot of basketball players, championships and stuff I don't know about but my husband was quite impressed.
Glad to see you mentioned your grandmother Sadie.
My take away from your book this was about a young man with plenty of talent and lots of opportunity to go far at a very young age, and even though the NBA isn't where you ended up. A black man never giving up teaching other young black men the correct path that's a triple AAA is my book. Good luck on this journey.
Linda - A must read for all basketball enthusiasts. An in depth look into the world of youth basketball. I haven't read a book in 15 years and I couldn't put this one down.
- This is a GREAT book!!! Reading this book makes you feel as though you know him and a person can relate to his childhood struggle. Just reading the book takes you through his journey and I would recommend this for everyone to read. Great motivation as well!!!
- If you are from DC area and played AAU basketball, it’s a true real life depiction of the challenges of young star players, and the choices they must deal with... great read
- This book is amazing at telling the story of a young man that overcomes so much adversity around him and still manages to come out on top.
- This is a truly compelling story any way you cut it. If you are a basketball or a sports fan (and I am), you will find the details behind the story fascinating, especially if you are from the DC area. You can explore the world of AAU and the many competing interests that kids must navigate. At a time when a lot of those inner workings are in the news and are often decried, the author brings a unique perspective about both the good and the bad side of elite youth basketball.
Even If you are not a sports fan, you can still follow the journey of a young man as he works hard to build a successful life. There are many pitfalls along the way, and the inherent disadvantages of growing up in a rough neighborhood are made very evident There are highs and lows... happy endings, sad endings, and truly gut wrenching endings. All along the way, the story is told with authenticity and the benefit of years of wisdom and hindsight. - True life story that is a good read for teens or anyone interested in sports. I liked the parts about the AAU basketball and the mention of NBA stars when they were younger.
- Wow, what a fascinating story! This is a well written book filled with honesty, integrity and mature reflections. A rollercoaster ride of emotions, experiences and influences. A true page turner that really stresses the importance of mentorship, trust and community! There’s a lot of wisdom in this book and I hope “Full Court Press†will be read by many, not just in the DC area, but around the world.
