• I used this book as a text for a World History Since 1945 class. Judge had a book entitled Cold War that is no longer in print. I liked that book a little better than this book. However, this book is a good one. My biggest complaint is that there is no index at the back of the book. I also think that economics played a huge role in the Cold War and this book doesn't do as good a job of explaining that as I would like. For a good book that looks at the history more from an economic standpoint look up Hunt's The World Transformed 1945 to Present.
